Mangaluru: The culprits of pro-terror graffiti case in Mangaluru will soon be behind the bars, said Home Minister, Basavaraj Bommai
The graffiti that threatened to ‘invite Lashkar-e-Taiba and Taliban to deal with Sanghis and Manuvadis’ appeared on the compound wall of an apartment complex in Mangaluru
Speaking to the reporters, Bommai said, We will install around 1500 CCTV in the city and those who wish to donate can come forward. Also, I have instructed for proper action, including street light facilities and police surveillance everywhere”
“There is a need for strict law on love jihad and we will soon take appropriate action regarding the same. Also, cow slaughter law will be strengthened,”he added
He inaugurated of the Police Quarters Housing Complex in Panambur and said that 11,000 thousand houses would be built by the year 2025 to provide the infrastructure for the police.
“There are 112 houses in Mangalore. 192 houses will soon be built and 100 houses will also be sanctioned. The aim is to provide housing for 60 per cent of police officials by 2025,” he added
