Mangaluru: Fund collection centre for Ayodhya Ram temple inaugurated

Mangaluru: A fund collection centre for the Ayodhya’s Sri Ram Temple was inaugurated at the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s office here.
The inauguration was done Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust’s Sri Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swamiji.
Prominent persons such as Kaladka Prabhakar Bhat, Vaman Shenoy, Professor MB Puranik and workers from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal were in present during the inauguration.
Speaking after the inauguration, Sri Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swamiji urged the State government to ban cow slaughter in the State soon. Adding that always some excuses are stated to delay the implementation of this law.
“In Bharata Bhoomi (Land of Bharata), cow’s are sacred and are very important in our lives. Hence, the State government must take immediate steps to bring in anti-cow slaughter law,” Swamiji said.
Speaking on the issue of Love Jihad, Swamiji said women are the largest victims of physical and financial exploitation, so the government should introduce a law to protect them.
