Rains expected in Karnataka’s coastal districts from Dec 7-12

Bengaluru: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that the coastal districts of the State will experience showers from December 7 to 12.
The IMD explained that this is because of the low pressure created in the Bay of Bengal by the Cyclone Burevi.
Bengaluru is already receiving rains from the past few days, these will spread to the interior parts of southern Karnataka, the department said.
A few parts of northern Karnataka too shall receive rains till December 12, the department added.
