Mangaluru: The Mangaluru Advocates Association has decided not to represent the two accused in the pro-terror graffiti case.
President of the Association M Narasimha Hegde stated that no member of the Association will provide any assistance to the accused or fight their case in the court.
The move comes after many organisations and individuals based in the city appealed the Association not to defend the anti-national culprits.
On November 27 and 29 graffitis were found in an apartment’s compound wall in Kadri and in the city’s court premises respectively stating that help will be sought from Lashkar-e-Taiba and Taliban and those insulting Prophet Mohammed must be beheaded.
Police arrested two people on December 5 in connection with the case.
