Bengaluru: Revenue Minister R Ashok said bus services will be provided with police security to ensure no disturbance is caused by the transport workers strike.

Speaking to the reporters after the meeting at the chief minister’s house, he said that Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents Of Police will be ordered to provide two police personnel for each bus and strict action to be taken against anyone disrupting normal bus operations.

Ashok alleged that the transport workers were protesting for the benefit of someone else, adding that Kodihalli Chandrashekhar knows nothing about labour laws and has nothing to do with the protest of the transport workers.

“During this COVID-19-induced crisis, Kodihalli Chandrasekhar is misleading the workers and causing trouble to the public. May the gods bless him with wisdom,” he said.
