Kalaburgi: Central team to visit flood-hit areas

Kalaburgi: The inter-ministerial central team will visit the flood-hit areas to study the damage caused to crops and infrastructure owing to the recent deluge in the district
The team led by Joint Secretary of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Ramesh Kumar Ganta consists of Dr. Bharatendu Kumar Singh, Director of Finance Commission Division and Dr. Manoj Rajan, Commissioner of Karnataka Disaster Management Authority.
Before the visit, the team held a small meeting at the DC office where they gained first hand information from the district administration authorities.
The team is going to pay a visit to Kapanoor and Farhatabad in Kalaburgi taluk, Bidanoor, Gobara (B), Chinamgera, Allagi (B), Teloor in Afzalpur Taluk and Kona-Hipperga bridge area in Jewarga district.
