Udupi/Bengaluru: The newly built ‘Brindavana’ for late Pejawar mutt seer Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji will be installed at Poornaprajna Vidyapeeth on Thursday, December 17.
As per the Swamiji’s wishes, his last rites were performed at Poornaprajna Vidyapeeth and a tulsi sapling was planted at the spot after he entered Brindavan after following all the rituals. A new Brindavana was to be built within a year at the same place.
As a part of the Brindavana installation ceremony, various religious rituals, including special pooja and seminars have commenced since December 10. The current seer of Pejawar mutt will install the Vrindavan today (December 17).
Appeal to view the installation ceremony online
In the advent of Covid-19, there is no possibility for the public to physically witness the installation ceremony. Vidyapeeth management has informed that people can view the ceremony through video conferences and YouTube. Live streaming of the ceremony will be available on Vishveshavani’s Facebook page and Pejawara Mutt Diwanaru’s YouTube channel.
