How is govt preparing for COVID-19 vaccination in the country?

Government is gearing up to inoculate the people once a vaccine for the novel coronavirus is readied. Bharat Biotech vaccine Covaxin is currently under phase 3 of the human clinical trials stage across the country
The Covid-19 vaccine being developed by Pune-based Gennova Biopharma received approval for phase 1 trials in the country. Hyderabad-based Biological E limited’s vaccine candidate is at phase 1/2 trial stages.
Government will use 29,000 cold-chain points, 240 walk-in coolers, 70 walk-in freezers, 45,000 ice-lined refrigerators, 41,000 deep freezers and 300 solar refrigerators to store COVID-19 vaccines. “Resources for vaccination have been delivered to states,” Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said.
A governance mechanism has been established and training modules for vaccinators have been finalised.
36 states and Union Territories have concluded meetings of State Steering Committees and State Task Force. 633 districts have concluded meetings of District Task Force
According to LiveMint, training modules for medical officers, vaccinator officers, alternative vaccinator officers, cold chain handlers, supervisors, data managers, ASHA coordinators etc are also finalized. Physical training as well as training on virtual/online platforms have started. National and State Training of Trainers (ToTs) workshops completed.
At the beginning, 100 people will be given the vaccine at a booth per day, they will be monitored 30 minutes after administering the shots for any adverse event
