Team Udayavani, Dec 20, 2020, 1:16 PM IST
WhatsApp will introduce voice and video call support for desktop application in 2021. The voice and video call feature is available on the iOS and Android app.
The move to facilitate calls over large screens would put WhatsApp on par with video-conferencing apps like Zoom and Google meet. The rollout of WhatsApp video and voice call for desktop feature has been confirmed by a WhatsApp spokesperson.
WhatsApp has already rolled out the feature to some desktop users on trial basis in time for the holiday season.
