Amasebailu RTI activist and family missing since few days found at Koppa

Siddapura: RTI activist Ashok Shettigar and his family who were missing since a few days from Machhattu in Amasebailu gram panchayat have been found at Koppa in Chikkamagaluru district on December 21.

Shettigar (49), his wife Srinidhi (40), son Ashwin (16) and daughter Aashika (14) were missing since December 15 from the village.

Shettigar’s nephew Shivkumar had registered a case with the police after he found Shettigar’s house locked on December 15.

Sub Inspector Anil Kumar in Amasebailu Police Station found Shettigar and his family and brought them to the station. It is still not known why the entire family secretly left the village.
