Shivamogga: More than 100 pressure cookers bought by a candidate for the Nidagi gram panchayat to lure voters have been seized.
After receiving a tip-off, Shivamogga taluk Election Officer led a raid and seized the 3-litre capacity 130 pressure cookers.
The boxes of the pressure cookers had the photos and information of the candidate on them confirming the information received by the Election Officer that they were to be distributed amongst voters.
