4 members of a family killed in Chhattisgarh, bodies found in water tank

Chhattisgarh: The dead bodies of four members of a family were found floating in a water tank in a village in Chhattisgarh’s Durg district

The fifth family member, an 11-year-old boy, is in a critical condition.  As reported by HT, “Four bodies were found floating in the water tank while two were crushed with a heavy object. The incident took place at around midnight,” said Akash Rao, Sub-Divisional Police officer ( SDOP) Patan said.

The deceased are identified as Balraj Sonkar (60), his wife, Dularin Bai (55), his son Rohit (30) and daughter-in-law Kirtin

The villagers told police that the family had no enmity with anyone and that they didn’t notice anyone going into the house. Police officials have registered the case and investigation is underway
