Since the advent of the new strain of the novel coronavirus in the UK, the government has decided to keep a close watch on people returning to India from London and Europe.
The government has also limited the number of flights from UK to India as a precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, Kannada actress Harshika Poonacha has made into headlines and left her fans wondering about her return to India from London.
The social media outrage on her for not undergoing quarantine was so huge that Harshika issued a clarification that she had been in Bengaluru for more than two weeks.
In a video published by her, Harshika said that she keeps forgetting to add #throwback to captions of her pictures from London and that was causing all the confusion. Adding that she was in the UK for a month and had returned on December 5, more than two weeks ago.
“I had taken all precautions and kept my distance after landing in India,” Poonacha said.
Harshika is currently acting in a Bhojpuri movie alongside Pawan Singh.
She also said that she had visited London to shoot for the same and had taken mandatory tests when she left the UK. On her return, her health was checked and only then was allowed to go home.
