Planning to make yoga training compulsory in schools says Eshwarappa

Shivamogga: District in-charge minister KS Eshwarappa said here that to strengthen the physical and mental health of children during the pandemic the government is considering to make yoga training compulsory in all schools in the district.
“We will hold a meeting about it with the district administration and Education Department officials. In the wake of the second wave of COVID-19, we are tracking foreigners. Already those who have returned from overseas have been placed in quarantine,” the minister said.
Eshwarappa added that in a meeting to be held tomorrow with the District’s Deputy Commissioner and Health Department officials it will be planned how to treat foreign returnees already under quarantine.
