K’taka PUC classes guidelines: 4 classes/day, attendance not compulsory

Bengaluru: The Department of Higher Education has issued its guidelines for the second year pre-university college classes to be started from January 1.
The guidelines state that no more than four classes/periods can be conducted per day can and attendance must not be made compulsory for the students.
“Conduct four classes daily, each of forty-five minutes duration. Classes must not have more than 15 students. The number of students can be arranged according to local needs and the area of the room. The first and second PUC students can come to physical classes only with self and parental consent. Parental confirmation that children do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 is mandatory,” the guidelines read.
