Ullal: Bike rider returning from temple fair dies after collision

Ullal: A bike rider died after his bike collided with another bike at Chembugudde near here on Saturday, December 26.

The rider identified as Sandesh (38) was returning from the Kolya Jatra Mahotsava when the collision at about 3 am.

Sandesh suffered serious injuries to the head and died on the spot.

He was unmarried and is survived by his mother and sister.

Sandesh, who worked as a painter, was selling fish near Kolya after COVID-19-induced lockdown.

A case has been registered at Naguri Traffic Police Station in Mangaluru.
