Tumakuru: Truck rams into stationery vehicle at Sira; 3 dead

Tumakuru: A speeding truck rammed into a stationary truck on Sunday, December 27 at Gandhinagar cross in Sira taluk leaving three people dead.
The deceased have been identified as Srinivas (35), driver of the stationary truck, his assistant, Mahesh (38) and Ningaraju (40), driver of other truck.
It is said that the accident took place when driver Srinivas was changing the tyre of his truck when the other truck carrying eggs from Hospet to Bengaluru hit his truck.
As the accident caused a huge traffic jam in the area, police officials arrived at the spot and arranged for smooth movement of vehicles.
