Mumbai: Fire at Sai Baba temple; 2 dead, 1 in serious condition

Mumbai: Two people were killed and four others injured in a fire that broke out at the Sai Baba Temple in Kandivali here on Sunday, December 27.

The dead have been identified as Subhash Khode (25) and Yuvraj Pawar (25).

Another man is hospitalised and is reported to be in serious condition.

The trio had closed the temple and slept inside. The fire caused by a short circuit early on Sunday morning engulfed the temple soon causing severe burn injuries to them.

The fire department personnel arrived at the scene immediately after learning of the fire incident and were successful in extinguishing it.
