Chikkamagaluru: In a rebuttal to Karnataka assembly’s Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah, BJP national general secretary CT Ravi said that when a mother tells her children that a man is their father then they do not ask for proof.
He added that however, there are a few who will ask for proofs.
“Some people have a tendency to doubt everything. If Siddaramaiah too has such a disease, it is his fault. Faith is beyond everything. The world runs on beliefs. Some do not see the divine at all while others see it everywhere. Divinity can be experienced by those who have the vision to understand it, he said
Does he know where and when Hanuman was born, Ravi jokingly asked.
Siddaramaiah’s belief is not self-learnt but gained from bad companionships. His parents named him after a deity because of their devotion to that deity. However, he has lost his way due to associating with bad people, Ravi added.
Ravi was in the city to perform the begging ritual to be undertaken by all ‘Dattamaladharis.’
He went begging in 9 houses in the city’s Narayanapura area and tomorrow will be participating in the pooja at the Datta Peetha.
