No change in decision regarding re-opening of schools: BSY

Bengaluru: Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa on Monday, Dec 28 said that there will be no change in decision regarding the re-opening of schools.

Speaking to the reporters, BSY said, ” Although there will be no change in the decision and schools will re-open on January 1, we will discuss the issue in today’s meeting and take further decision.

Speaking regarding UK’s Covid-19 mutant, he said, ” Till now there has been no problem in the state because of the  new Covid-19 mutant”

Also, talking about the Gram Panchayat Elections, BSY said, ” During the decentralization of power, many educated people have contested the Gram Panchayat elections. 95% of BJP candidates will win. Congress leaders did not shown any interest in this. We will work with the gram panchayat members and help them in the development of the villages”
