‘Sankalpa’: Here’s what Pejwara seer thinks about PM Modi’s growing beard, hair!

Bagalkot: As the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya has run into a rough patch after the test piles for temple foundation failed to prove resilient enough in tests due to the unfavorable soil conditions underneath, Shree Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji, seer of Pejawar Math on Sunday on December 27, said that the reason behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi growing his beard and hair may be a ‘Sankalpa’ (a pious vow) to get the Ram mandir construction completed.

Swami Vishwaprasana Teerthan, who is one of the 15 people on board of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra said that the Prime Minister was more inclined towards spirituality and since Modi has laid the foundation stone of Ram Mandir, he is morally responsible for its construction.

“PM Modi has taken full responsibility for ensuring its execution. Naturally, customs dictate that one should not cut their hair when executing the Sankalpa and that may be the reason for his long hair,” the seer said.

Ram Mandir is estimated to be built in three and a half years at the cost of Rs.1500 crore. Around Rs.500 crore is spent on the construction of Mandir and the remaining Rs.1000 crore will be spent on the development of the environment, accommodation of pilgrims, and construction of roads.

Swamiji speaking on farmers’ protest in Delhi said that he doesn’t fully support the protest because what is going on in Delhi right now isn’t a movement by farmers but something in the disguise of farmers.

He further added that Prime Minister is calling the protesters for talks, asking them to discuss the points but the protesters are objecting.
