Udupi: CoD yet to receive forensic report in Raksha death case

Udupi: The CoD investigation into the death of 26-year-old housewife Raksha is progressing at a snail’s pace as even four months after her death it is yet to receive the forensic report.
On August 21, Raksha had gone to the Mission Hospital here suffering from severe migraine. After arriving home and consuming the prescribed medicines she died.
Her family has been accusing negligence by the hospital and its physicians.
Later, Udupi MLA Raghupati Bhat reportedly requested Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai and got the investigation into Raksha’s death transferred to the CoD.
Raksha’s husband Shivaprasad has stated that the CoD team investigating his wife’s death always reply that the report will arrive in a few days and when the Deputy Commissioner is asked he tells him to contact the CoD. Adding that he is still waiting for justice for his wife.
