K’taka COVID-19 update: 653 new cases, 1178 discharges, 8 deaths on Dec 27

Bengaluru: On December 27, 653 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 1,178 recoveries and 8 deaths.
The State’s COVID-19 tally now stands at 9,16,909 total cases out of which 12,547 cases are active and 12,070 dead.
Presently, 205 COVID-19 patients in the State are undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Units.
Bengaluru Urban district again recorded the highest number of COVID-19 on the day with 309 cases.
All other districts recorded less than 65 cases.
