Koteshwara scuptors to build the chariot for Ayodhya Ram Mandir?

Koteshwara: Lakshminarayana Acharya, a national award-winning sculptor from here of Koteshwara could be given the opportunity to build the chariot for the Sri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
An official announcement is yet to be released regarding this.
Shefali Vaidya, a columnist at Swarajya magazine had visited the Koteshwara temple to observe the orthography of ancient temples. During her visit, she had confirmed the sculptors from Koteshwara will be building the chariot.
The team of sculptors led by Lakshminarayana Acharaya consists of his brother Shankara Acharya and son Rajagopal Acharya.
They have built 127 chariots of gold, silver and wood so far for temples including Kukke Subramanya and Puttur Mahalingeshwara Temple.
The plans for building a chariot for Ayodhya temple was made in March 2020 and one of the seers suggested Lakshminarayana’s team.
The sculptors from Koteshwara have already submitted few chariot designs similar to those in Udupi.
It is yet to be known if the construction will take place in Koteshwara or Ayodhya.
