Entry to beaches in Udupi prohibited: DC

Udupi: District Collector G Jagadeesha has prohibited entry to beaches in Udupi from 6 pm on December 31 to 6 am on January 1 to prevent the spread of mutant coronavirus.
The District Commissioner has released a video on Facebook issuing guidelines to be followed on New Year’s Eve including the prohibition of entry of public in any of the beaches in Udupi from 6pm on December 31 to 6am on January 1. He even informed that there will be tight police security at the beaches.
“To prevent the spread of virus, entry to beaches and New Year celebrations at public places have been prohibited,” he said.
