Vijayapura: BJP MLA from Vijayapura Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has demanded Karnataka Chief Minister, Yediyurappa to convene meeting with 117 legislators instead of BJP’s divisional-level legislators meeting
Speaking to the reporters, Yatnal said, ” BJP ministers are not allowed to visit Chief Minister’s home office. Whenever we ministers go to meet the chief minister, his staff shoo us away saying that Chief Minister is resting. For the past 6 months I have not gone there”
“As there are only 6-7 legislators at the party’s divisional-level legislators meetings, ministers are not able to express their opinions freely,” he added
He further said, ” Even though, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has himself written a letter to release Rs 23 Cr funds for my constituency, we have still not received it. Since then, I have not visited CM’s office and have not met him. CM BS Yediyurappa should call legislative party meeting immediately”
