India reports 217 COVID-19 deaths in 24 hrs, lowest in 7 months

New Delhi: As per Union Health Ministry, India has reported 18,177 new Covid-19 cases and 217 more deaths in the last 24 hours, which is the lowest daily rise in deaths in the last seven months.

ANI report states that the total number of COVID-19 cases has reached 1,03,23,965, while the death toll has mounted to 1,49,435. The total number of active COVID-19 cases in the country stood at 2,47,220. So far 99,27,310 recoveries have been reported in the country.
