Bengaluru: BJP State president Nalin Kumar Kateel said that the central disciplinary committee of the party has been informed about the issue of MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal.
Speaking to reporters, he said there was nothing wrong with MLA Yatnal’s call for a legislative party meeting or the letter written by Sunil Kumar. In view of it, we have held a divisional meeting today.
“Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa reviewed the progress report of last one year at the divisional meeting of BJP legislators. Lawmakers submitted reports on the government’s schemes and development works in the meeting. The chief minister also listened to the demands of the legislators,” Kateel added.
“None of the legislators in the meeting made any accusation of ‘interference.’ I will be in Mangaluru tomorrow as there is an event involving the prime minister,” he said.
