Haleyangadi: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Tuesday, January 5 said that state official language status for Tulu will be accorded after proper inspection and discussion with the concerned.
An appeal in this regard has been made to Chief minister BS Yediyurappa by Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy President, Dayanand Kattalsar.
Speaking to Udayavani, Dayanand Kattalsar said, ” We have met Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and Education Minister Suresh Kumar and have exhorted them to make all-out efforts to get this recognition.
“The Chief Minister also assured that the administrative approval for the 3.6 crores released to the Tulu Bhavan would be approved soon,” he added
