Bengaluru: MP Tejaswi Surya on January 5 accused the opposition parties of flirting with people’s lives by spreading rumours about the COVID-19 vaccine.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting with the BBMP officials regarding the COVID-19 vaccination, he said it was irresponsible to call the COVID-19 vaccine a BJP vaccine and mislead the public about it.
“The COVID-19 vaccine will save millions of lives and bring back normalcy in all our lives. Therefore, I appeal to all political leaders of the State not to misrepresent facts about the vaccine,” he added.
“The public should not listen to false news about the COVID-19 vaccine. All of us are eagerly waiting for the vaccine which has been approved after many phases of research and trials. Therefore, there should be no fear related to the vaccine,” Surya said.
