Hotel gutted in fire due to short circuit in Brahmavar

Brahmavar: A hotel near the All India Radio building was gutted in the fire on Wednesday, January 6.
Reportedly, a short circuit led to a major accident in a hotel and the mishap is believed to have taken place around 8 to 8.30 pm. However, there’s no word on any casualties, but damage to the building is significant.
The incident took place after the hotel belonging to belongs to Satish Shetty, a resident of Nadur village, was shut down for the day. The emergency services arrived on time and were able to douse the fire, preventing the other shops from getting perished in the flames.
The kitchen appliances and most of the electrical item, Rs 30,000 in the cash register and important documents was gutted in the fire.
