Edu Min Suresh announces new radio program ‘Kaliyutta Naliyona’

Bengaluru: Eduction minister S Suresh Kumar announced that the Education Department is launching a new radio program called ‘Kaliyutta Naliyona’ on January 11.
The Nalikali and Kalinali programs for children in classes 1 to 4 (non-school attending) will be broadcast from January 11 to April 5.
“The Education Department aims to continue the learning of children through song, story, drama, dialogue, puzzle, and various other interesting activities for classes 1 and 2 from 10 am to 10:15 am every Monday to Friday and from 10:15 am to 10.30 am for classes 3 and 4,” the minister added.
“These radio programs will include object recognition, self-learning, pleasurable learning, word recognition. Thus, I appeal to all parents of children studying in classes one to four to listen to this program with their children,” Kumar said.
“Parents can also send songs or puzzles made by them or their children to us at the WhatsApp number 9449417612 and we will broadcast them. The radio programs will be broadcast by 13 radio stations across the State and these will also be available on YouTube,” Kumar added.
