Madikeri teen selected to National Youth Parliament’s speech contest

Madikeri: Achal P Maia, from Kushalnagar here, has been selected to participate in the National Youth Parliament’s speech contest to be held in New Delhi.

The Parliament is organised by the Government of India, the Nehru Yuva Kendra, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the National Service Scheme.

Achal had come second place in the State level speech contest held in Bengaluru recently.

He will now be participating at the national-level speech contest to be held in New Delhi on January 12 which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Union ministers.
