Soudha’s contract staff not paid salaries since November

Bengaluru: Salaries of the contractual employees working at the offices of the three Deputy Chief Ministers, other cabinet ministers, and even MLAs, most of whom work at Vidhana Soudha and Vikasa Soudha, have not been paid since November.
It is gathered that there are about 250 employees working in the offices of ministers and many of them have been working for the last 10-15 years on contract.
The salaries of these contracted employees vary from Rs 17,000 to Rs 42,000 per month and their salaries have not been paid since November while the permanent staff gets their salaries by the fifth of every month.
