Bidar: Reacting to Former CM Siddaramaiah’s CM change remark, Karnataka Industries Minister Jagadish Shettar on Monday, questioned whether Siddaramaiah is a BJP spokesperson to talk about Chief Minister change in Karnataka?

Speaking to the reporters, Jagadish Shettar said, ” Siddaramaiah has  no rights to talk about the CM change issue. Your party (Congress) is losing every election, first discuss about that. Also, mend your relationship with DK Shivakumar. Rather than talking nonsense, give constructive suggestions to the government”

“The chief minister’s post in the BJP government is not vacant, BS Yediyurappa will be the Chief Minister of the state for the next two and a half years,” he added

He further said, ” I am not contesting the Belgaum LS by-election. I have no desire to contest the election. Also, the election has still not been announced”

Talking about the Gram Panchayat Elections, Shettar said, ”  In the Gram Panchayat elections, 60% of seats have been won by BJP-backed candidates. In order to congratulate the winning candidates, Janasevaka convention will be held across state. Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the closing ceremony of the Janasevaka convention on January 17″

“BJP’s victory in the Gram Panchayat elections was a result of the Gram Swarajya conventions held by the party. Now, even Congress is doing Sankalpa yatra but as the party has lost voters’ confidence, the convention will not be successful,” he added
