“Not the actual picture of the baby”, Vikas Kohli issues clarification on sharing Virushka’s baby girl picture

Cricketer Virat Kohli’s elder brother Vikas Kohli shared a first photo of a baby girl on social media on Monday, Jan 11.
Sharing a picture of the infant’s feet, Virat’s brother Vikas wrote, ‘Happiness overboard …. angel in the house.’

However, he has now clarified that the picture doing the rounds as Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma’s baby’s “first picture” is a random image and does not belong to the newborn.
“Guys let me clarify that the picture I posted yesterday to congratulate Anushka and Virat is a random picture and not the actual picture of the baby…as some media channels are reporting,” Vikas posted on Instagram

Virat and Anushka welcomed their daughter on January 11. Virat took to social media to share the news. He tweeted, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat”
