Bengaluru: A video of a tiger biting the bumper of  a safari vehicle with its jaws at the Bannerghatta Biological Park went viral on January 15.

The tiger is seen approaching a safari vehicle with visitors onboard. Later the video shows the tiger grabbing the rear bumper with its jaws and teeth, dragging it back by a few inches.

The bumper of the vehicle is broken by the end of the video.

Vanashree Vipin Singh, Executive Director of BBP confirmed that the video was about two months old.

Further clarifying Vanashree informed that the vehicle was static as there were battery issues and the driver couldn’t start it. Seeing the stranded vehicle, the tiger approached the vehicle and started grabbing the bumper in a playful way. The vehicle was later towed safely by the rescue team.
