Raj Bhavan Chalo: Farmers in Karnataka take out procession against farm laws

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee on January 20, took out a protest march in Bengaluru City against the farm laws enacted by the Central government.
A huge number of farmers led by KPCC president D.K Shivakumar took out the protest march from Majestic’s Sangolli Rayanna statue to Freedom Park.
The protest resulted in traffic jam in the Majestic area of the city.
Addressing the media, Shivakumar said that the Congress party is supporting the protest of farmers.
He further claimed that the police in Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Ramanagaram and other districts prevented farmers from participating in the protest.
He said that he condemns the laws and that the protest would continue till central government repeals the laws.
