Bengaluru: MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal said that as per the wishes expressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, dynastic politics must be stopped and he will be writing a letter regarding this to party’s State and national leadership stating that two people from the same household should not be allowed to become MLAs and MPs.
Speaking to reporters in the Assembly, he said that elders should give up their ministerial positions to others and must work for party organization. Active and young people must be assigned Cabinet work.
“These legislators keep talking in the news about being led by a tiger-like, king-like leader. However, what should anybody do if the tiger or king is impaired,” he added indirectly criticising Yediyurappa.
“It is not known against whom has Renukaacharya complained during his Delhi trip. It is the CM who has the power to appoint ministers to his Cabinet. Our resentment has not subsided yet. I will speak with the party president when the situation arises,” Yatnal said.
