Prez Ram Nath Kovind to inaugurate General Thimayya Musuem in Madikeri

Madikeri: President Ram Nath Kovind will inaugurate General Thimayya Musuem in Madikeri on February 6. He will also be visiting Bhagamandala and Talacauvery to offer special pooja.

On February 6, Kovind will arrive at a temporary helipad at Chettimani. Later he will travel to Talacauvery, located 12km away from Chettimani, via road. Special pooja will be offered at 10am.

After which the President will visit Madikeri Golf Maidan via chopper, followed by a lunch at Sudarshan guest house in Madikeri.

The President will inaugurate the museum at 3.45pm.

Owing to the pandemic, no public will be allowed to the inaugural programme. Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army staff is likely to attend the inauguration of the museum.
