Vijayapura: Miscreants set fire to lentils pile, disconnect water pump set

Vijayapura: An unidentified gang of miscreants set fire to a lentils pile in a farm and disconnected electric supply to the water pump set at Padanuru village in Indi taluk in the district here.
Mallu Avaradi had piled about 40 quintals of lentils on his farmland. The fire destroyed all of it.
The incident has caused a loss of Rs 3 lakhs to Avaradi.
A complaint has been registered at Indi rural police station.
