Mangaluru: After a raid conducted at the beaches by the police officials, Ullal beach wore a deserted look as people are afraid to come out of their houses.
On January 16 and 17, in order to keep a tab on illegal activities on beaches, police teams led by City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar conducted simultaneous raids at various beaches in city limits
The police took into custody several people who were found unnecessarily loitering in the beaches. All of them have been reportedly let off after a warning.
