Belthangady: Search operation in full swing to find youth trapped under landfall

Belthangady: An intense search operation has been launched to find the young man from Ujire who is trapped under the landfall that occurred at a waterfall near Bangara Palke in Malavantige village of the taluk.
The joint operation is being carried out by SDRF, police department, fire department and the SKD Disaster Management Team.
The youth identified as Sanat Shetty (21) is trapped under 15 feet of huge rocks and mud.
Friends of Shetty who had accompanied him to visit the waterfall on January 25 have been rescued.
