Bengaluru: Curfew within 2 kms of Vidhan Soudha during jt session

Bengaluru: City’s Police Commissioner Kamal Pant has issued an order implementing curfew within a 2-kilometre radius of the Vidhan Soudha during the joint legislative session between January 28 and February 5.
“Various organizations are likely to stage protests and attempt to lay siege of the session. They may disturb the conduct of the session as well as disrupt the smooth flow of traffic. Hence, during the session, from January 28 till February 5, a curfew will be in effect till 2 kilometres from the Vidhan Soudha from morning 6 am to midnight,” the Commissioner stated in the order.
