Three days after an Andhra couple killed their two daughters believing that they could be brought back from the dead, the mother refused to be tested for the novel coronavirus, claiming that she was Shiva and that it was her body that gave birth to coronavirus.

On Sunday, Padmaja reportedly bludgeoned to death her daughters. The police upon reaching the crime scene found that their bodies were covered in red clothes.

During the police questioning the couple — Padmaja (50), principal of a private educational institute and her 55-year-old husband Purushottam Naidu, Vice Principal of Madanapalle Government Women’s Degree College claimed that their daughters would come alive after the sunrise. They said “Kalyuga” will end and “Satyuga” will start from Monday (January 25).

As the police took the accused for the mandatory Covid-19 test on Tuesday, Padmaja told a healthcare worker that she was Shiva’s Avatar and that Covid-19 is “from Shiva’s body particle sent to help end the Kaliyuga.”

“Corona came from me, I have sent it to this world to eliminate the godforsaken, during the Kaliyuga’s end. It has not come from China. It will end in March without the use of the vaccine. There is no need for a vaccine,” Padmaja claimed.

Further she went on to say, “I have halahal (venom) in my throat. No need to test me for coronavirus.”

Following several requests by cops and her relatively calm husband Purushottam Naidu, Padmaja agreed to take the test. The Covid-19 test results are awaited.
