Bengaluru: Police officials arrest CA student with Rs 35 lakh worth hashish oil, marijuana

Bengaluru: Police officials on Thursday arrested a CA student and seized hashish oil and marijuana,  valued around Rs 35 lakh from him.

The accused Vishruth N Raj (27), a resident of Dwarakanagar in Channasandra, was working at a chartered accountant’s office and was also attending CA coaching class.

It is said that he was arrested near a shopping mall in Jayanagar 9th Block, while he was selling hashish oil. Police officials claim that the accused used to procure these banned substances from neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.

Also, the accused was in touch with Guntur-based peddler Praveen aka Mummy and procured banned drugs from him.
