Bengaluru: Congress Vidhan Parishad member Prakash Rathod, accused of watching an adult video during the ruckus in the house on December 15, has denied the allegation and said that he was merely deleting messages in his phone.

Many news sources had reported that Prakash Rathod was watching an adult video during the ruckus.

He, however, explained, “I was not seeing anything like it. Messages in my mobile phone had increased and I was deleting it. I do not watch such things. Please do not spread false information.”

“There were more than 15,000 messages in my phone. I was deleting them to increase the phone’s memory. There were some general videos too that were sent to me. I was deleting them,” he added.

“I’ve never watched an adult video. May have received some photos or other pictures,” said Prakash Rathod.
