Mangaluru City Corp to begin property survey from Feb 1

Mangaluru: The municipal commissioner of the Mangaluru City Corporation Akshay Sridhar announced that a survey of properties in all the wards of the Corporation will be held from February 1 to assess the property tax to be paid by them.

He made the announcement during the general session of the Corporation on Friday, January 29.

Sridhar added that MCC workers will conduct the survey by visiting the individual properties and noting information about the property in the Self Assessment of Property Tax Form.

He requested the property owners to provide correct information about their property.

Sridhar also said that already more than 2 lakh properties have been surveyed by the workers however there are still many that are yet to be surveyed. Adding that the entire survey exercise will take about 40-45 days.
