K’taka COVID-19 update: 426 new cases, 433 discharges, 2 deaths on Feb 2

Bengaluru: On February 2, 426 new cases of COVID-19 along with 433 recoveries and 2 COVID-19 deaths were reported from across the State.

The total number of cases reported till date in State has increased to 9,40,596, out of these 12,225 have succumbed to the virus.

Presently, 5,915 COVID-19 cases are active in the State out of which 146 are undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Units.

Bengaluru Urban district reported the highest number of cases on the same day at 231 while Dakshina Kannada district was second with 61 cases and Tumkuru district at third with 25 cases.

All other districts reported less than 20 cases each.
