Bengaluru: Advocate smears black ink on writer K S Bhagavan’s face in court premises

Bengaluru: An advocate and activist, Meera Raghavendra smeared black ink on Writer K S Bhagavan’s face at a court in Bengaluru on Thursday.

Meera Raghavendra claimed that she threw ink as a form of punishment and that he deserved this for allegedly insulting Hindu religion.

She uploaded the video of the incident with the slogan ‘Jai Shri Ram’ on her social media profile. It has now gone viral

It is said that the  writer had come to the court for a hearing in connection with a case and was granted bail. When he walked out of the court, Meera attacked him with ink.

She was heard saying, ” Aren’t you ashamed of yourself? You are a professor and so old and you speak trash about Hinduism and the Gods”

Bhagavan’s bodyguard immediately took him out of the court premises.
